Fast and Convenient Ways of Creating New Entries

The following ways of creating new entries are supported so you can use the one which is the most convenient for you in a particular context:

• The New Entry wizard allows you specify one or more object classes, the rdn and attributes.
• With a predefined entry template you can create an entry in a single step. The entry template is a set of object classes, an rdn, a set of attributes and attribute values.
• Using Copy/Cut and Paste for an existing entry, you can create a clone of that entry at a different dn.
• Export an existing entry to a server.
