Easy Connection Setup

You can setup an LDAP profile using a Profile Assistant wizard, which allows you to specify not only the mandatory settings like the hostname, port and username but also contains a number of features that makes the setup process more comfortable and productive:

  • Base DN discovery
  • Encryption: Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and STARTTLS
  • The following logon types: Anonymous, Normal, Logged-On-User and Kerberos
  • Connection test
  • Authentication test
  • Limit interaction with the server only to browsing entries (read-only)
